Step 1: Choose your Umrah package
Pick your departure city, dates, length and hotels. Our packages fly from Sialkot, Lahore and other cities; compare prices on the Umrah cost guide and hotel distances on the hotels pages. For Ramadan dates, book early.
Step 2: Send your documents and get your Umrah visa
Send us a passport scan (valid at least 6 months from your travel date) and a CNIC copy. The Umrah visa is included in all our fixed-departure packages and usually takes 3 to 7 working days. After it is issued, you must enter Saudi Arabia within 30 days, or it is cancelled automatically.

- You book these yourself in the app; we don’t book them for you.
Step 5: Pack the essentials
- Passport, CNIC copy, visa copy, and vaccination certificates (paper or on your phone).
- Your Nusuk permits on your phone.
- Any medicines in their original packaging, with your prescription or a doctor’s note.
- For men, the ihram: two plain white unstitched sheets. Women wear ordinary modest clothing.
- Sun protection and something to drink from: Makkah is hot for much of the year (see the month pages for average temperatures).
Step 6: Ihram and your flight from Pakistan
- If your flight lands in Jeddah, you pass the miqat before landing. Many pilgrims put on ihram before the flight, and the crew usually announces the miqat about 30 minutes ahead so you can make your intention.
- If your package goes to Madinah first, you enter ihram later, when travelling from Madinah to Makkah. The miqat for people coming from Madinah is Dhul-Hulayfah.

Step 7: Arriving in Saudi Arabia
Your package includes your airport transfer to your hotel. Our teams in Makkah and Madinah can help with your accommodation if needed.
Step 8: How to perform Umrah in Makkah (Tawaf, Sa’i, shaving or trimming)
The Umrah has four parts: ihram (Step 6), Tawaf (seven circuits around the Kaaba), Sa’i (seven times between Safa and Marwah), then shaving or trimming the hair (men shave or trim; women trim a small amount).
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah publishes an official Umrah and Visit Guide (اردو) in 16 languages with videos and maps.
Step 9: Madinah and the Rawdah
- Visit Masjid an-Nabawi. The Rawdah needs the Nusuk permit from Step 4.
- Travel between Makkah and Madinah is included in your package. If you travel on your own, the Haramain high-speed train links Makkah, Jeddah airport (Terminal 1) and Madinah; book at sar.hhr.sa or in the HHR Train app. It allows one checked bag per adult, up to 25 kg.
