Umrah for Women from Pakistan (2026–27)

By the Anwaar Al Harmain Travel and Tours team, Sialkot Last checked: 4 November 2026

In short

Saudi Arabia allows women to come for Umrah without a mahram, and we accept women travelling alone or in groups. In ihram, women wear ordinary modest clothing. Women book their own Rawdah time in the Nusuk app and follow the same visa, vaccination and permit steps as every pilgrim. You can speak to a woman on our team.

Rooms for women travelling alone

A woman travelling alone can share a room with other women only, for example a quad room shared by four women. Room sharing changes the price per person; see the Umrah cost guide.

What women wear in ihram

Women’s ihram is their ordinary modest clothing; there is no special colour.

Questions such as face covering and gloves during ihram are religious rulings, so ask a scholar you trust.

If your period may fall during your trip

This affects some parts of Umrah and is a religious question. Ask a scholar you trust, ideally before you choose your travel dates.

In Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi

Health

Every pilgrim from Pakistan needs the meningitis and polio vaccines (see the Umrah visa page). Pregnant women should check the Saudi Ministry of Health’s current rules and speak to their doctor before travelling.
